# Microsoft Intune

The Microsoft Intune integration lets Boza deploy — and remove — the Boza browser extension across your **Windows** devices managed by Intune. Boza creates a device-management script in Intune that installs and pins the extension on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox for the device groups you choose.

{% hint style="info" %}
This page covers authorizing the Intune connection. For the complete walkthrough — group targeting, verification, and troubleshooting — follow the [Microsoft Intune deployment guide](/docs/browser-extension/deployment/microsoft-intune.md).
{% endhint %}

## What the Integration Does

* **Deploys the browser extension** to selected Entra ID / Intune groups by creating and assigning an Intune device-management script.
* **Installs and pins** the extension on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, configured for automatic login.
* **Removes the extension** from selected groups when you no longer want it deployed.

## Setup

Intune is authorized from within the extension deployment wizard:

1. In the Boza admin panel, go to **Settings > Browser Extension** and start a deployment.
2. Choose **Microsoft Intune** as the deployment method.
3. Click **Grant Access** and sign in with a **Microsoft Intune administrator** account.
4. **Consent** to the requested device-configuration permission. Boza detects when authorization is complete.
5. **Select the device groups** to deploy to and start the deployment.

{% hint style="info" %}
Deployment is handled by Intune and can take up to 24 hours to reach all devices.
{% endhint %}

## Prerequisites

* A Microsoft Intune administrator who can consent to device-configuration management.
* Target devices must be **Entra ID joined / enrolled** in Intune so the extension can resolve each user's email.
* Windows devices.

## Next Step

Continue with the full [Microsoft Intune deployment guide](/docs/browser-extension/deployment/microsoft-intune.md) for group targeting and verification.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://boza.gitbook.io/docs/integrations/microsoft-intune.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
